 The sad and heart wrenching tale of Sophie Lancaster' continues in the court's earlier this week. Sophie Lancaster 21 ( November 26th, 1986 – August 24, 2007) and her boyfriend Robert Maltby were attacked by a group of drunken idiots, apparently for the sole reason that they dressed 'goth'. Initially Robert was attacked, and while Sophie held him in her arms to protect him, she was attacked and died two weeks later in hospital. There is no news on Robert's health other than 'he has not recovered'. Our prayers and hearts go out to the families of both Victims.
From what I have read there are 5 youths involved in this attack, 1 aged 15, 1 aged 16 and 2 aged 17. The sixteen year old has plead guilty to murder, the rest are pleading grievous bodily harm.
